Travel Tips

Put your full name on all of your personal items. Do not overpack! You must be able to carry your own luggage. Usually, one suitcase and one backpack are sufficient. Be sure to follow the TSA restrictions on the amount of liquids or gels that can be packed in carry-on bags. You can bring ONE single quart sized clear ziplock bag with 3.4-ounce bottles or less. Global Endeavors is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. 

To aviod checked baggage fees, you may bring one carry-on suitcase and one personal item, such as a backpack or purse, on the plane at no extra cost.

If traveling by air, adults (18 years and older) must carry a valid picture ID (drivers license, ID card, passport, etc.) that matches the name on your ticket. Anyone under 18 is not required to have a picture ID. 

Selfie Sticks are not allowed in the theme parks and should be left at home.

Items to Bring

  • Wind/Waterproof jacket, rain poncho or umbrella

  • T-Shirts/Shorts

  • Sweatshirt/Jacket. Long pants and a long-sleeved shirt (It can get cool in the evenings in December)

  • Socks, swimsuit, sleepwear/undergarments

  • Comfortable shoes to walk in (the parks are huge)

  • Sandals for down time (not permitted for daytime activities)

  • Closed-toe water shoes with sturdy soles (for waterpark)

  • Spending money for meals not covered ($17-20 per meal), snacks, etc.

  • Hat (for sun protection) and sunglasses

  • Waterproof Sunscreen

  • Camera and charger or batteries

  • Picture ID (if applicable)

  • Toiletries

  • Cell phone and charger

  • Small backpack or daypack

  • Plastic water bottle that fits in pack

  • Gallon-size, ziplock bags for wet clothing

  • Snacks for plane ride
